Disappointed May 29, 2010 This product sounded great at first. I ordered a LightCap 200, however after charging it for 10 hours it would not light up and even after removing the battery and replacing it, no light at all. I contacted Sol light customer service to replace it since it is under a year warranty, however they could not do a return under 1-2 weeks. I then returned it to Amazon for a refund and ordered a new LightCap 200 hoping the previous one was just a fluke. I received the 2nd light and after charging it all day in full, very bright light, not all the lights work. (The LightCap 200 is comprised of 4 "lights"). Perhaps I am unlucky but I would not recommend this product. I am very disappointed.
Fantastic Invention! May 01, 2010 This is a fabulous invention! I am in awe of the clever design and the precision of its construction.
I teach a class in lighting and used this as an example of LED lighting to illustrate new ideas. Students loved it.
All my friends are equally enthralled with this Light Cap and they all want one. Since I live most of the year in Egypt, it works great with charging. Too bad they are not sold here locally. I await more genius lighting ideas from SolLight!

Pleasantly Surprised Nov 06, 2009 I commented on Benson's previous comment on the 5 I have purchased. I use one and my two kids each have their own. We use them camping and hiking. Like all solar products you have to manage the recharging. We spend 5 weeks in Baja each year and these are perfect for tasks at night. When reading I'll take it off the bottle and stick it face up on my chest; works great. Plenty of light time when you remember to recharge it! No problems on ours or the two I gave as gifts. I'll be buying more for gifts this year.
